Lymph drainage
Lymph system includes special blood vessels in the body, through which drains excess fluid that is not returned to the venous capillaries.
WHAT IS LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE INTENDED FOR?
Lymph drainage is a type of massage that acts on the vegetative nervous system and solves the problem of the lymph swellings, or jammed lymph. It activates circulation, stimulates the removal of excess fluid, improves the immune system and regenerates tissue.
TO WHOM LYMPH DRAINAGE IS INTENDED?
Any person who has problems such as:
- Shallow and reduced circulation
- Edema (swelling) tissue
- Post operative conditions indicated for drainage
- Fluid retention in the body
- Cellulite (connective tissue disease)
- Heavy legs (swollen)
- Chronic sinusitis
- After cosmetic surgery
- After cosmetic surgery
- Rheumatism
- Convalescent status
WHAT IS THE REASON FOR LYMPH DRAINAGE?
It is the stimulation of the movement of fluid from the intracellular space in the lymph vessels, and from them to the lymph nodes and into the venous system, i.e. circulation. It should be emphasized that lymphatic drainage is not a muscle massage, but a special form of massage which restores tissue fluid in the organism (lymph). This massage works not only on tissue that drains, but also to the deeper layers of tissue. Lymphatic drainage is achieved by a balance of body fluids in the body.
MANUAL LYMPH DRAINAGE
It is implemented by a manual method, with very mild pressures, due to the sensitivity of the lymphatic channels. It is important to note that this type of massage should be performed only by a professional therapist to avoid counterfeits of this massage. Manual lymphatic drainage controlles amount of pressure on the skin.
With lymphatic drainage we achieve better skin elasticity, reduce the swelling on the face in the form of bags and dark circles, as well as the lifting of the skin
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NECESSARY?<
With therapeutic lymph drainage, a period of healing is individual and depends on the client and his situation. If necessary, the massage should be performed 2 times a week, 4 - 6 weeks.
If massage is done for aesthetic purposes (prevention of cellulite, lifting skin, removing dark circles and bags around the eyes) it is recommended once a week, as long as client wants, and in consultation with the therapist.
Treatment of lymphatic drainage lasts 15-45 minutes when it is done partially, and about 75 minutes when it comes to the whole body.
