Hyaluronic acid fillers
When it comes to anti-aging treatments today, hyaluronic acid fillers make top of the list. Hyaluronic acid fillers are one of the most popular yet highly efficient anti-aging medical treatments. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is found in human body – being part of human skin, hyaluronic acid is lost during the aging process. In modern medicine the lost ingredient can be replaced by using the HA fillers to fill in the visible wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is our skin’s natural moisturizer.
Hyaluronic acid is a component of every organism and is present almost 50% in our skin. What is very important is that its role is a strong water binding.
Over time, skin ages, the percentage of hyaluronic acid decreases and the skin becomes loose, dehydrated, wrinkled, inelastic.
Therefore, as a preventive to that, and for the treatment of such skin conditions, we use hyaluronic acid gel (hyaluronic filler).
Fillers are resources that are intended to be support for the skin and mucous membranes and thus be made to fill in the gaps which are created over time due to aging and other factors.
They are the most commonly used in the region of facial skin, but their use can be applied on other parts of the body.

The procedure lasts shortly (half-hour), it is painless (before the treatment an anesthetic is administered in the form of cream or injection), and after it you can immediately proceed with daily activities. Hyaluronic filler is inserted with a thin needle, certain CCM, and the effect is palpable immediately after this procedure.
FAQS:
- Can Fillers cause an allergic reaction? Hyaluronic filler is produced in the form of a sterile gel and its advantage is that it is permanent compared to other implants and is not of animal origin, so it can not cause allergic reactions.
- How long do the results last (effects)? Filer can last up to 24 months, depending on where it is inserted. The first time the skin is filled with filler, the effect is 8-12 months, and later regular filling in up to 24 months. The reason for this is the gradual degradation of hyaluronic acid in the body.
- How will I look like after the treatment? After the treatment, there are indications of mild redness and swelling that disappears after 24 hours. You can continue on with daily activities without any fear that it will expand or something like that will happen. You will look refreshed, more beautiful and happier.
- What is advised after the intervention? We advise not to consume alcohol for 24 hours after the intervention, and to avoid the sauna, solarium and natural sunlight, for the same time period. Pool should also be avoided for one day, as well as workouts.
There is no age limit for use of hyaluronic fillers; the best thing to do is to do them preventively, after the appearance of first wrinkles, and other signs of skin aging.
